Indoor Percussion

The Indoor Percussion ensemble is a percussion only auditioned marching ensemble founded in 2018 that competes in competitions across the winter months. The ensemble is compromised of marching battery (snares, tenors, bassline and cymbals) as well as front ensemble (mallets, drumset, synthesizer, bass guitar and auxiliary percussion). Their season starts in December and ends in early April where they compete in competitions hosted by local high schools. The JFK Indoor Percussion ensemble has achieved multiple first place finishes and is well known for its unique shows and creative costuming. Their 2022 program is entitled “In the Dead of Niight”, and is a “reboot” of the show the ensemble performed during their cancelled 2020 season.
